Closing out the summer Sounds of the Shores program will be the surf rock band The RiP-TiDEs on August 19th. Catch the wave and come on out for music in the Shores!
Sundays this Summer, Marlin Park is the place to party! Join your friends and neighbors for the Redwood Shores summer concert series.
Hosted by RSCA, the Sounds of the Shores summer concert series takes place once a month throughout the summer on Sunday afternoons — 5 – 7pm for three great nights in Marlin Park.
For the first concert of the season on June 24th, The Touch of Class will be bringing the sounds of Soul Music to the Shores. Big horns, big voices, and big, big songs that will get you going from your dancing feet to your swooning heart. This is a band built to blow, coming to you with music that will make you move fast and slow. Performing a mix of R&B, Funk, Oldies and Big-Band Standards, The Touch of Class has tunes that cover every era of groove music — there’ll be hot & fresh songs you love as well as throwback songs you forgot were so great. If you like The Temptations, Aretha Franklin, Bruno Mars, Frankie Valli, or Earth, Wind & Fire, you must be in the Shores on Sunday to see The Touch of Class.
Bring your lawn chairs or blankets, your friends, and your dancing shoes!
And if you come hungry, the delectable Waffle Amore will be bringing a food truck to the concert with sweet or savory waffle meals & treats for purchase. Pick up some dinner or dessert to enjoy on a Summer Sunday evening.
