We all look forward to seeing our Shores residents decorate their homes for the upcoming festive Holiday Season. It never ceases to amaze us how creative and artistic some of you are, and it is truly a delight to walk or ride around the many different neighborhoods in Redwood Shores to view your handiwork.

RSCA has been regularly celebrating some of stand-out houses decorated for the season. Winning homes are featured in The Pilot and on the web.

If you would like to submit your holiday lighting and decorations for consideration and possible publication in The PILOT, we are asking that you take a photo of your home, apartment, condominium or townhome, and submit it to our Board of Directors for their official ‘judging’ process. The best time of day for these photos is about 15 minutes after sundown, while there is still a little light in the sky. We want to see your house and surroundings as well as your lighting and decorations. Try not to use a flash (unless you can’t turn it off,) and you may need to take several photos during a roughly 15 minute period before the sky gets dark. Send us only the very best two or three of your pictures. Be sure to include your NAME and STREET ADDRESS (including apartment or unit number if applicable)

Your photos must be submitted no later than 5PM on Wednesday, December 12th, as our elves will be judging all submissions afterwards. Sorry, no late applicants can be considered, as this will be a lengthy review process!
