The following message from RSCA urges residents of Redwood Shores to attend the upcoming Joint City Council/Planning Commission Meeting on March 4th.

The meeting will review a Study Session of the Redwood LIFE campus redevelopment, which has been a considerable concern for residents in Redwood Shores as to how it may affect residential areas and change the landscape of the area. 

The Joint City Council/Planning Commission Meeting will be held at City Hall — 1017 Middlefield Road — at 7PM on March 4th. (*Note that the time has been updated.)

Agenda Items for this Study Session:

1. An update on the City-led community outreach efforts;
2. An overview of the sensitivity analyses and other studies done to evaluate the original project proposal;
3. An overview of public comment received;
4. An estimated timeline for project consideration;
5. Feedback from individual members of the Planning Commission and City Council regarding a development project alternative to be evaluated along with the original project proposal during the environmental review process.
