BE COURTEOUS…BE SAFE
Dear Neighbors, Last month there were two bike-vehicle accidents in Redwood Shores. Based on incomplete information, the first accident, which was not fatal, involved a child and her grandfather who were struck by a car near Shearwater Parkway and Mindanao while biking to Sandpiper Elementary School. In the other accident, which, tragically, was fatal, the bicyclist was hit and killed by a tractor-trailor truck at the intersection of Shoreway and Redwood Shores Parkway.
