The first Pilot was published in 1969 and has been going strong ever since. It is a free publication and is mailed monthly to the 6000 residents and businesses that reside in Redwood Shores. The editor and publisher is Carol Mertens, a resident of Redwood Shores. Shores Press in San Carlos in the printer and All About Mailings in Redwood City is the mail house.
